Suggestions for a book to read?

I have to read a book for my 11th grade AP cl. I have no idea what to choose. I like thriller and suspense fictional novels like the Da Vinci Code(and other Dan Brown books), Paranoia, and things of that nature. I typically like those New York Times Best Sellers just because they tend to be great stories. Can anybody give me suggestions on any books that fit my category? They also have to be a little lengthy since i am in an AP course.
