Is there any proven way of developing prophetic dreams and/or subconscious knowledge to a more refined level?

I have the ability to dream the future weeks and months in advance of the actual event. It is never a life-altering event, always an everyday occurrence. It's a very brief interval of the event, maybe a minute or so. Yet, I have been able when it starts to tell whoever has been with me exactly how it would end and have stumped quite a few friends. I would like to be able to see specific events and larger portions of them. Has anyone ever heard of anything other than Lucid Dreaming or Journals, as I do intend to try both. Also, and this is extremely painful, I knew my late husband was going to die 3 days before it happened. More specifically, I knew I would never see him again. He was getting on a bus to visit his family, and I begged him in tears not to go or to take me too. He told me I was overreacting, that he would be back in a week, and we would be fine. I FREAKED. I even considered tearing up a VERY expensive plane ticket to stop him, but couldn't get my hands on it. He promised me he would be back, that he wouldn't break his promise. I looked at him and said, "You don't have to break your promise to not come back, it might be something you can't control." He left and 3 days later he was dead. I'd like my gut feelings to be a little more clear as to what they are about. Any suggestions for that one?
