HELP! 3 1/2 yr old still does NOT sleep thru the nite.?

There is nothing harder then lack of sleep!! I disagree with the Dr.s recommendation of locking her in her room.. how scary that would be! We allow our children to sleep next to us on the floor whenever they wake up and need some extra mom and dad time. We even keep a spare blanket and pillow by moms side of the bed for just such times. In fact, our oldest is 24 and our youngest is 7... so that blanket has been next to our bed for 22 years! LOL If the child trys to sneak in, I give a big hug and tell her her choices... "Honey, do you want to sleep next to me on the floor or go back to your bed?" They soon come in so quietly I do not know I have a child next to me on the floor until I almost step on them in the morning. Everyone gets a good sleep and feels loved.
